UCalgary Orchestra

The University of Calgary Orchestra has been broadcast on CBC Radio’s Our Music and on its national programs In Performance and Take Five. We have appeared in the Millennium Music Foundation Concert Series and at the Third Esther Honens Calgary International Piano Competition and Festival.

The UCalgary Chorus is our largest choir and provides an opportunity for all university students, staff, faculty, and community members to be involved in a choral experience. With approximately 85 singers, the Chorus performs a variety of music including Classical, Folk, Contemporary Choral, World, Pop, and a cappella.

We invite you to celebrate the art of singing in the finale of the Calgary Vocal Festival Showcase Concert.
April 25, 2026, 7:30p.m. in the Eckhardt-Gramatté Hall, Rozsa Centre, University of Calgary.
The concert features performances that include a variety of ages and vocal styles recommended by our adjudication team that includes: Commercial/Popular Music, Musical Theatre, and Classical styles. In addition, we will announce our 'Most Outstanding Singer' and 'Most Promising Singer' award recipients in each vocal category. Come and witness the energy and vocal accomplishments of these emerging artists.
Doors open at 7:00p.m. and the concert begins at 7:30p.m. You can purchase tickets online or at the door. Hope you can join us!
